
I offer the following therapy approaches to counseling: Trauma and Grief with Loss, Mindfulness, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Person Centered (Rogerian) Therapy, Biblical Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Logotherapy, Motivational Enhancement Therapy, and varied contextual therapies.
I apply therapy approaches to individuals, couples, families, and those from ages 16 through senior years. I treat anxiety, depression, thought and emotional disorders, behavior and anger issues, addiction in the context of mental health issues and problems. and identity issues, as well as change of life issues.
I have a total of over 35 years of counseling experience and am now entering my 36th year of experience. I have worked with young people regarding academics and school/college issues, people feeling stuck in the changes and phases of their life process, I have worked with children and parents in foster care and adoptions, and have worked with drug and alcohol issues with young people referred by schools, and the court, and other community agencies.
I encourage and facilitate deep heart centered counseling with self-reflection, meditation, prayer, and spiritual reading and reflection toward holistic healing, meaning, and wisdom through the client’s personal trials and challenges in life.
